41st 4th Street Fair features special Friday night kickoff event

The 4th Street Fair will be Oct. 1 and 2 along South Fourth Street.

RICHMOND, Ind. — The 4th Avenue Reasonable will kick off with a unique party this year.

The 41st fair sponsored by Senior Possibilities Services and Ivy Tech Group College Richmond functions food stuff vehicles, sellers, music and routines from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 1 and 2 along South Fourth Avenue.

This yr, a unique 4th Avenue Following Dark kickoff celebration will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 30 at the corner of South Fourth and D streets, according to a information release. The night will feature a New Boswell Brewery beer backyard garden, Fatheadz Foodtruck and audio from Todd the Fox. A walking tour of the historic community with Matt Stegall begins soon immediately after 6 p.m. at Cutter’s Corner Craft Store, 401 S. Fourth St.
