A Franklin building company obtained a household member to pose as a disadvantaged Black small business proprietor to gain Military contracts set aside for these kinds of enterprises, federal investigators say.
The investigation claims that Nikki Platt’s corporation, Broadway Building, with an address in Milwaukee, was a front to funnel $7 million in government contracts set aside for minority companies to Platt Development, her father’s firm.
